Rok Mobile Now Offer Unlimited Calls TO 60 Countries
ROK Mobile launched free international calling and text messaging to users on its Sprint calling plans. ROK, an MVNO that offers service through three of the four largest wireless network operators in the United States, targets consumers who frequently communicate with others overseas.
The company’s plans, which include unlimited voice and text, start at $25 a month for 1 GB of LTE data and top out at $50 a month for an “unlimited” data plan that includes 8 GB of LTE data.
The offer of free international calling and text is available to new subscribers who sign up online or at any of its 10,000 retail locations.
“This is a fantastic way for ROK Mobile customers to easily stay connected with friends and loved ones who live outside the U.S.,” said Clinton Ehrlich, ROK’s vice president of marketing, in a press release. “Free international calling on the Sprint network is another way customers can trust ROK Mobile to make their lives easier.”
Separately, ROK introduced a loyalty program that rewards customers for signing onto the service and maintaining it. ROK customers receive up to $100 in “rewards dollars” when they register for a plan and earn more every month they remain a customer.
The rewards can be redeemed at more than 500,000 outlets across the country including national chains such as Chili’s, Subway, TGI Friday’s, Gap, Office Depot and Michaels, among other retailers.
“We are always looking for ways to help our customers save money. We already deliver the best deals and networks in wireless. Now ROK Mobile is helping customers save money elsewhere in their budget,” CEO John Janes said in a second press release. “ROK Mobile believes everyone should be able to provide for their family in affordable, meaningful ways.”
